Project Night at Sprout with Nate Cantrell

On Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 7 pm to midnight, Nate Cantrell will host Project Night at Sprout (339R Summer St).

The event gives people the opportunity to socialize with others while doing things such as repairing bicycles and making puppet shows. People are also free to stop by to help out, or see what other people are doing.

“Project nights are a chance for people to play in a machine shop and electronics lab, and learn about science and engineering in a fun and social environment,” said Eric Smith, one of the hosts. “We’ve had people working on everything from taking apart transmissions to figure out how they work, to designing and building metal detectors from scratch.”

Proyecto en la noche en Sprout con Nate Cantrell

En Martes, 9 de febrero, de 7 pm hasta la medianoche, Nate Cantrell será la sede de Proyecto en la Noche en Sprout (339R Summer St).

El evento ofrece a las personas la oportunidad de socializar con los demás, mientras que haciendo las cosas como reparación de bicicletas y hacer espectáculos de títeres. La gente también es libre de ayudar, o ver lo que hacen los demás.

“La noches de Proyecto constituyen una oportunidad para que la gente juegue en una sala de máquinas y el laboratorio de electrónica, y aprender y aprender sobre la ciencia y la ingeniería en un ambiente divertido y social,” dijo Eric Smith, uno de los anfitriones. “Hemos tenido gente trabajando en todo, desde desmontar las transmisiones de averiguar cómo funcionan, de diseño y construcción de detectores de metales a partir de cero.”
